How to Bronze...

For the sun kissed look, use a bronzer that is about two shades darker than your skin tone and a large brush (Kabuki or Complexion Brush).Dust the bronzer over forehead , nose and across the cheeks where the sun would get a sunburn and down the neck so you dont look like you're wearing a mask.The key to  this method is applying the product with a big fluffy brush so the product goes on streak free and you can blend as you apply.

So I'm still in looove with red and its a true classic but lately I've been rocking a more coral colour and neon pink for spring. Spring for me is all about trying new things . Bright ,Light ,Bold.  Something new. The rebirth of colour after the winter drabs.

My OPI Gel Color Experience.

So I know I'm late on this trend but, I tried the OPI  Gel Color system today At Norma Webster Salon &  Spa and I absolutely loooove it! 
 The process is sooo quick n easy.
 Base coat , colour of choice and top coat. 
After every coat of polish the nails are cured under the UV lighting and wahlah! Finished, no waiting around for nails to dry  to dig in the handbag for  car keys or money. Its that simple and another good thing, Im told it lasts upto 2 weeks with no chipping! Im really loving this idea seeing as I cant keep polished nails, ahh... well...  polished.

UPDATE!!
So its week (1) .
 Im still looving my Gel Color Polish. under normal circumstances I would have taken off my polish already due to chipping but look still perfect and shiny . Its growing out but then again thats what nails do right? Grow :)

**Okaaay, so I dont have the 2nd week pic but believe when I say I kept it on for the full two weeks and its worth it! Apart from the new growth the colorur was still fab and no chipping. give it a try!

So you wanna be a blonde!

Some may joke that being blonde is a state of mind. Some take it to the next level, being blonde for real. Well for those of you who want to be blonde and is doing so from brunette please take my advice and do so professionally.thats not a fete to be taken on by buying a box colour doing a home fix. There are undertones in the hair and every hair is unique to this. Certain undertones may surface when colour is applied and can only be reversed if youre a trained prfessional. To be a blonde from such a dark colour there are levels the hair must go through to achieve this like orange and yellow and then mabe applying a toner to soften the colour .

Dip Dyed Tips!!

So I'm trying to wrap my head around the dip dyed tips. well I guess i think it's actual cool in a punk rock way but for everyday wear? Hmm... Not too sure. Trashy or Sassy? Whats your take? In comparison with the Ombre? Im still looooving the Ombre still think its sexy! :)

The Ombre Trend? Do you think its over?
It was the colour craze for 2011 and 2012 seems to be still booming with Ombre highlights!!.
All of Hollywood seems to be doing it. It can be as subtle or as drastic as you choose.
Really what it is is a graduation of darker roots to lighter ends with all colour variations .Wether its dark brown to light brown and blonde ends. or just dark blonde roots to very light almost bleached out white ends.
I looove the Ombre.I think its quite sexy actually.

Ok so you're in your 30's or 40's you will notice a change in your skin. Your skin is not  as it used to be so Moisturizer is the key to soft, supple skin. Its  a good idea to exfoliate your body once a week to get rid of the excess dead skin cells. 

There a number of exfoliants on the market you could buy or if you prefer , simply make an at home scrub with Oatmeal, or Sugar and Olive oil even adding essential oils to stimulate the senses.

Apply product when skin is slightly damp. For best effect, pat skin dry instead of rubbing with your towel before applying lotions or oils. If you choose body oils over lotions, towel off the excess oils before you slip into clothes or between sheets.
